Gil Melott has always been a storyteller.

With his custom furnishing and lighting designs under his namesake Gil Melott Bespoke, he is able to hone that ability by translating vivid references from his upbringing into approachable modern design.

Using materials and ideas familiar to his youth - refined bronze and metal fabrication, solid traditional woodworking and joinery, and fabrics that have a distinct or historic heritage - elevated and translated into sophisticated and urbanely rustic pieces of bespoke furniture.

Gil’s current collaborations in production extend to glassware, leather textiles, and handmade rugs. All things inspired.
